WHAT IS THE CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING NOTICE?
Prop 65, officially known as the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide a warning if their products contain any chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Even if our products are BPA-free and free of harsh chemicals, Prop 65 warnings may still be required because the law maintains a very broad list of chemicals of over 900 substances that are considered potentially harmful. Some of these chemicals may be present in trace amounts in materials, packaging, or even as byproducts of the manufacturing process.
The presence of a Prop 65 warning does not mean our products are unsafe. It is a legal requirement to inform California consumers of even very small levels of certain chemicals. We include the label to ensure compliance with California regulations while maintaining our commitment to safe, high-quality products.
