What is MagSafe?

MagSafe is a proprietary standard of wireless power transfer and accessory attachment developed by Apple. To put it simply, it’s a feature that facilitates wireless charging and accommodates a ton of cool new accessories that make your phone even more functional. This is all made possible through a complex design featuring magnets, shields, coils and sensors. Hence the name MagSafe.
